Auto Diagnosis Error Tolerant Operation of a Bearingless Slice Motor

Aimed at solving a problem towards multi-phase concentrated winding bearingless slice motor that the open-circuit(OFF) state of windings would lead to the motor's abnormal running.A self-diagnosis error tolerance system based on decoupled controller is designed in the present paper.The function of error tolerance when stator winding fault occurred is obtained by detecting stator winding under open-circuit(OFF) state and taking the method of transition of coordinate in order to recover it in normal operating state.Finally,an experiment with inter-switching between ON and OFF states is carried out on motor windings.The experimental result show that the fault-tolerance control is worked well at the random phase under open-circuit(OFF) state.
