Analysis on Capacitor Energy Storage Parameters of Servo Press Dynamic System of PMSM With Heavy Load

The whole machine scheme of the developed crank mechanical servo press is proposed.The dynamic system combination of permanent magnetic synchronous motor(PMSM)and capacitor energy storage device substitutes for the traditional mechanical press's combination of asynchronous motor and mechanical flywheel-coupling.Analysis and research on capacitor energy storage parameters of the dynamic system are made.The paper describes the working mode of servo press as well as the voltage and current's changing situation of the capacitor energy storage device during the stamping processing.The heavy servo system model is established under the Matlab environment.Taking a 80t servo press as the goal,the selection of capacitor energy storage parameter is analyzed through the simulation.A group of reasonable energy storage parameters are proposed and a heavy load servo drive system on this prototype is designed also.Combining with crank mechanical servo press,experiments are carried taking the hydraulic accumulator as the load object.The result proved that the servo system can satisfy the request of heavy load driving performance while the slide stamping processing.The capacitor energy storage device designed can not only realize the function of the mechanical flywheel,but slow down the impact of the summit current on power grid.The scheme proposed has the characteristic of high efficiency and high overload which is feasible in the servo press application occasion.
