Unified Control of Multimode Operation for Paralleled Power Conversion System in Integrative Station

Dealing with multimode operation of paralleled and bidirectional power conversion system(PCS) in EV charge-discharge-storage integrative station(CDSIS), this paper proposed a unified control strategy based on three-level centralized scheme. The operation mode of PCS module was flexibly selected between vehicle to grid(V2G) and stand-alone mode. Optimized allocation algorithms were developed for achieving state of charge(SOC) balancing of battery packs and apparent power balancing of PCS modules. Meanwhile, the induced mechanisms of voltage spikes and rush currents during transfer process were analyzed. Then a novel dual loop control strategy was proposed based on instruction tracking in inner loop and smooth switching in outer loop, to realize seamless transfer among operation modes. Simulation and experimental results have verified the proposed control strategy.
