Electromagnetic Model of Three-Dimensional Motor

At first, the operation principle and application prospect of three-dimensional motors(3DM) are introduced in brief. Then, three different three-dimensional space coordinate systems which are nessary for 3DM study have been developed and the 3DM electromagnetic model which includes voltage equations, flux linkage equations and electromagnetic torgue expressions have been derived. The results show that it is the complex electromagnetic coupling inside the 3DM that makes it difficult to control.
