Scheme Design of a New Type Reverse Power Protection

There are small power plants on the low voltage side of some 110kV terminal substations. When permanent fault happened on the 110kV line, the fault spot can not be isolated quickly and effectively. This paper puts to add logic of reverse power directional protection to the high voltage side of main transform. After the logic was put into effect, the protections acted correctly and effectively.
