Study on Principle of Zero-Sequence Component Caused by Transformer Inrush Phenomenon

Du Jiwei(Southwest Jiaotong University)  
Based on single-phase transformer model with no load,the transient inrush current is analyzed. Three-phase transformer simulation model (Yn/D) is built by using power system block set(PSB)of Matlab. Each phase inrush current and harmonic components of inrush current is studied by using simulation result. Equivalent circuit of the system is built when transformer with neutral ground and no load is energized. Zero-sequence current and zero-sequence voltage is discussed in depth,with inrush current and its associated harmonic components being analyzed.
