The Application of Improved Tabu Search Method in Reactive Power Optimization

According to the short-term forecasted load curve, the load of one day is divided into pieces,the typical load point in each period is drawn,and the mathematical model of divided period reactive power optimization is established.The aim of thismodel is the minum of one day's active power loss.The cur- rent tide takes the equality restraint,and the load voltage,the capacity of condenser as well as the number of switching take the inequality restraint.According to the characteristics of con- denser switching,Tabu Search method is concretely improved and realized.How to generate the binary code of compensation condenser and how to chose initial value are researched.The example shows that the impoved Tabu Search method is a high- efficient,fast heuristic search method.It can solve distribution networks reactive power optimization very well.
