Automatic parameter selection for fuzzy enhancement of weak contrast details

To overcome the subjectivity of the parameter selection in generalized fuzzy enhancement algorithm,an automatic fuzzy parameter adjust method based on the fuzzy enhancement of contrast algorithm is proposed.The effect of the parameter selection on image enhancement is analyzed,and the degree of the detectable edges and the enhanced image entropy are used as criteria for evaluating enhancement quality,which are used for automatic estimation of the fuzzy parameter of the fuzzy algorithm.The contrast of the weak details of the image are enhanced.Finally the algorithm is verified to be effective through experiments.
