Three-dimensional track-planning of UAVs based on PSO algorithm

Precise three-dimensional track-planning can increase the success probability of an Unmanned Air Vehicle(UAV) in low-altitude penetration.It is very difficult to implement three-dimensional track-planning because of the huge searching space.We used Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) algorithm for track-plan making of UAV in three-dimensional space.The maximum horizontal swerving angle,maximum climbing/gliding angle,minimum flight-path step,minimum flight height,and the shortest flight-path distance are taken as evaluation indexes of the adaptability function.The result of simulation shows that the method is rapid in calculation,needs smaller memory space,and is easier engineering realization.
