Performance analysis and improvement of particle filter algorithm

The performance of particle filter algorithm is analyzed,and some ideas are proposed for improvement.The principles of particle filter are given at first.For radar target tracking,the particle filter was used in tracking the targets with three typical movement states,including uniform rectilinear translation,uniform circular motion,and uniformly-accelerated motion.Based on which we analyzed the influence on the whole tracking performance of different parameters,such as particle number,state model,process noise and heat noise.Some ideas are put forward for improvement.The adaptability of particle filter and its future development direction are presented.
