A Method for Tuning Gain/Phase Margins of MIMO System in Output Channels

For the finite-dimensional Multi-Input-Multi-Output(MIMO) Linear Time-Invariant(LTI) plant,a new method for tuning gain/phase margins in the output channels was presented.The method used the theory of discrete-time Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR) to design static Generalized Sampled-Data Hold Function(GSHF) controller,and could provide gain margins as large as desired and phase margins of up to 90 degrees in the output channels of all feedback control loops.It is convenient to apply for its simple form.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.
