Research on Dual-level and Dual-threshold Load Balancing S ystem Based on CORBA

An middle-ware based dynamic load balancing system was designed to balance the workload in a distributed inhomogeneous network system in order to enhance resource utility and increase system throughput, which can meet the needs of complexity and self-adaptability of load balancing by adopting CORBA. On the analysis of the related parts of CORBA, a model of load balancing system is presented, and furthermore, dual-level and dual-threshold algorithms are brought up, which can collect and evaluate the workload, can dynamically pre-assign services among nodes of CORBA system and can transfer services between nodes on the homogeneous subsystem. This algorithm can effectively improve the parallel performance of the load balancing system.
