FEATURES OF METALLOGENIC-TECTONICS AND MECHANISM OF TECTONIC-METALLIZATION FOR VEIN-TYPE GOLD DEPOSITS IN THE NORTH-EASTERN HUNAN,CHINA

The North-Eastern Hunan is an important metallogenic province of vein-type gold deposits. The metallogenic tectonics of these gold lodes which are all hosted by the LengjiaxiGroup, a group of metamorphic rocks,are shear-related fractures of various ranks. The goldfields and the focus districts of gold deposits are mainly controlled by the 3 areal ductilethrus-shear zones. The gold -bearing structures, with complex forms and being classified into 6 principle basic styles, are all dilated shear fractures. There are closely temporal-spacialrelationship between gold mineralization and shear deformation. Based on the geological setting and the features of metallogenic structures of the gold deposits, and that the gold deposits were mainly formed by mobilization of dispersed gold in the metamorphic rocks(Lengjiaxi Group ) during their metamorphism-deformation, this paper puts forward that,the tectonics in gold metallization-evolution not only created spacial conditions for transporting and locating metallogenic material, but also took part in every processes of gold mobilization-mineralization by mechanical-chemical coupling. At the end, preliminary discussion isput on the main four types of mechanical-chemical coupling and their role in the gold mineralization-evolution.
