TECTONICS MINERALIZATION OF JIAOJIA TYPE GOLD DEPOSITS——An Example from Jincheng Gold Deposit, Northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula

Jiaojia type gold deposits are formed during tectonic transition from ductile to brittle. The metallogenetic tectonics activities of Jincheng gold deposit as well as Jiaojia gold orefield have 4 sequential stages: counterclockwise ductile thrust, clockwise brittle tensile shear, clockwise brittle compressive shear and normal fault. Mineralization has 5 stages. Quartz k feldspar stage is before ductile shear and is the first stage of mineralization, for it is close to main metallogenetic stages but has a long interval with the Linglong granite. Quartz siderite pyrite stage, quartz chalcopyrite stage and pyrite sericite quartz stage are the main metallogenetic ones and are formed under brittle tectonic settings. The former two stages are formed under clockwise brittle tensile shear setting while the latter is mainly formed under clockwise brittle compressional shear setting though could be formed in many tectonic stages. Carbonate stage shows the end of mineralization.
