Characteristics of Strike-Slip Structures and Metallogenic Model of the Fankou Lead-Zinc Deposit,Guangdong Province

The Fankou Pb-Zn deposit occurs in the Middle and Upper Devonian carbonate rocks in the northern margin of the Quren basin in Guangdong Province and is one of the representative deposits of the EW-trending Nanling W-Sn-Bi-Mo-Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic metallogenic belt. A series of NE-,NNE-and NW-trending strike-slip structures related to the ore formation and rebuilding well develop in the ore district. To be more precise,The Indosinian NE-trending left-lateral strike-slip and Yanshanian NNE-trending structures are the dominant ones during metallogenic stage of the ore district. The spatial occurrence state and enrichment degree of the orebodies are subject to alteration and influence of post-metallogenic NNE-,NW-trending right-lateral strike-slip extensional structures. The evolution and development of the NE-trending strike-slip structure belt,accompanied by magmatic hydrothermalism,is the key restrictive factor that controls the ore formation of such a large-scale deposit.
