Quantitative Evaluation on Availability through Geophysical and Geochemical Prospecting Techniques—A Case Study on CSAMT Approach in Fenghuangshan Copper Deposit

The comprehensive application of a variety of geophysical and geochemical technologies for location prediction of concealed ore and quantitative evaluation on availability can provide the most critical parameter for optimized integration of the most effective detection techniques and the three-dimensional prediction for deep concealed ore on location and quantity. On the basis of a classical statistical theory,the paper presents firstly a quantitative method to evaluate availability based on comparison of sections and carries out quantitative evaluation on availability applying CSAMT in the Fenghuangshan copper deposit,Anhui. The results show that there is a higher degree of availability on 13 exploration sections. Then,it means that the method is effective on prospecting and can be selected as a major geophysical method for deep prospecting in the Fenghuangshan copper deposit.
