The State and Tendency of Education for Power Electronics Abroad

The power electronic technology is the professional core curriculum of electrical engineering and automation. In order to adapt to the development of times, Universities of every nation innovate teaching to try to create "the power electronic technology of IT times". This paper analyzes some schemes of teaching reformation in Japan, USA, Denmark and Switzerland and other countries and concludes that the key to innovation is the combination of production, learning and research in developing creative spirit.
