Simulation research on high temperature yield stress limitation' effect on welding deformation and residual stress of high strength steel

Since high temperature yield stress of material is difficult to obtain,differences always exist in welding simulation.By double ellipsoid thermal source,five cases of high temperature yield stress of high strength steel were taken into welding simulation analysis,to research the influence of high temperature yield stress on welding deformation and residual stress.The results show that,the rise of yield stress can increase both the welding deformation and the welding residual stress,but in different way.The effect on welding deformation is evidently.The nearer the position to weld center line,the bigger the effect is.Effect of high temperature yield stress on residual stress just focus on a very small zone in near weld zone.
