The foundation legend of Khotan:Translation and annotations to Li yul chos kyi lo rgyus(PartⅡ)

P.t.960 Li yul chos kyi lo rgyus(Religious History of the Li Country)offers rich information about the kingdom of ancient Khotan,including foundation legend of the kingdom,Buddhist protectors of the kingdom,Bodhisattvas residing in the kingdom,as well as the decline of the Buddhism in Khotan,Tibet and India etc.This article is the second of the series of translation and annotations to the document,1.Vaisramana and sariputra are ordered by the lord sakyamuni to break up the lake that is to be the land of Khotan;2.the prince Sa nu and the minister Yasa meet and found the Khotan kingdom.
