A Statisitic Method to Improve the Time-Delay Accuracy of the Transformer's UHF Part Power Emitting Signals

By measuring the time delay of the transformer-part-power-emitting-signal's reaching the various array units of the sensor,to locate PD is realized in theory.Electromagnetic wave travels at 30 cm/ns in theair.That UHF sensors examine the time delay of UHF signals is the key step in the exact location.This paper puts forward a maths algorithm: interrelevance-translocation-average.This algorithm improves the time delay accuracy by increasing signal's noise ratio and decreasing the scattering brought by PD.The experiment shows that this algorithm may improve the time delay by 10 ps in some situations and improve the PD location accuracy by several centichanges.
