Modeling and Simulation of the Cascade Brushless Doubly-fed Machine

In this paper,the structure and principle of the cascade brushless doubly-fed machine are introduced and the mathematical model under rotor reference frame(d-q axis) is derived as well.Based on the mathematical model,the simulation model is established by means of S-function of Matlab software.And some of the dynamic characteristics of the mathine are simulated,which provides the theoretical foundation and simulation block for the furthur study of the application of this kind of machine in VSCF wind generation domain.
