Design of a NO_x Generator Used in X Laboratory Based on Numerical Simulation

Based on numerical simulation,a NOx generator is designed.In the generator,acetylene reacts to oxygen getting in together with air to release a great deal of heat and to induce high temperature field in the combustion chamber,and then the nitrogen in the air reacts to oxygen to produce NOx.Numerical simulation shows that the scheme is feasible.The NOx density of the outlet of the chamber can be adjusted by changing the velocity of the acetylene jet,i.e.,when the latter changes from 3~5m/s,the former changes from 2064~4297ppm.To maintain the velocity of the acetylene jet but to change the velocity of the air jet can also adjust the NOx density in smaller scale.Thus,the generator can meet different requirements in various situations.
