Application of the very low frequency(VLF)electromagnetic method in the Zhuyuan copper deposit,Henan Province

XU Ling-bing(Pingdingshan Institute of Nonferrous Metals Geology and Exploration,Pingdingshan467021,Henan,China)  
This paper briefly discusses the very low frequency(VLF)electromagnetic tech-nique and,take the Zhuyuan copper deposit,Xixia County,Henan Province,for example,introduces the outstanding results achieved in the application of the VLF technique in looking for copper polymetallic sulfide deposits.On that basis the author puts forward three opinions about the shortcomings of this technique.
