VARIATION OF EARTH RESISTIVITY BEFORE FENGZHEN EARTHQUAKE OF M=5.8
An Weiguang(Scismological Bureau of Shanxi Province)
On August 13th, 1981, an earthquake with Ms = 5.8 occurred at Fengzhen (Inner Mongolia, north of China). Two of the four geoelectric stations within the range of 220km around the epicentre recorded changes of the drop anomaly and acceleration, one recorded the increment in S-N direction and no clear variation was recorded at the other station. These anomalous variations are analyzed and discussed in the paper.
