COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF TIDAL DATA RECORDED BY TWO YRY-2 BOREHOLE STRAINMETERS AT LUANXIAN STATION

This paper introduced the observational and testing conditions of the solid tide of two YRY-2 borehole strainmeters at Luanxan Seismic station, Hebei province. Harmonic analysis and calculation of the observed data at the two wells are carried out for many times in the data processing. The authors analyzed the observational data of linear strain and differential strain of different directions comprehensively and camparatively. Results show: 1. there contain stronger long tendency low frequency noise and high frequency noise in the observed data and they are obviously interfered by air pressure; 2. the linear strain suffers much higher air-pressure interference than the differential strain; 3. the main tidal wave compositions shown at every direction of both wells are consistent, they are O1, S1, K1, N2, M2, S2 waves. 4. after processing through various removal disturbance methods, authors can get clearer strain-tide curves and more reliable harmonic analysis results of strain tide; 5. the harmonic analysis results of the differential strain calculated by linear strain in No.1 well and the differential strain measured directly in the No.2 well are consistent, both can be mutually verified.
