STUDY ON THE DECISION METHOD OF SHORT-TERM AND IMPENDING PRECURSORY ANOMALY OF EARTH RESISTIVITY

In this paper the observational data of earth resistivity are processed with the methods of first order difference and coherent weight. The short-term precursory anomaly is prominent. And the short-term and impending precursory change of earth resistivity and its prediction criterion are also studied. The parameters of earth resistivity anomaly are conversed into the quantity of information of earthquake precursors by means of the nomalization method. Based on studying the characteristics of the tendency anomaly of earth resistivity and the distribution regularity of the quantity of precursory information as well as their relation to the three elements of an earthquake, authors give the quantitative statistical criteria for predicting three elements of an earthquake, which provides the basis for the comprehensive and tracing prediction by using the multiple precursory methods.
