TIME-SPACE CHARACTERISTICS OF GEOELECTRIC PRECURSORS IN LARGE NORTH CHINA REGION

In this paper, we discussed systematically static and dynamic features of the precursors of single and group earthquakes in large North China region. The medium-and short-term precursory geoelectric trend anomalies which are relatively concentrated within 200-500km from the epicenters may be the source precursors of seismogenic zones. On the other hand, the short-term precursory geoelectric anomalies which disperse several ten days before the shock or appear befor the moderate and strong earthquakes within larger range (nearly 1000km) are probably the precursors of regional structural stress field. The appearance of the imminent anomalies in the teleseismic zone is earlier than that in the local zone.
