Parameter Self-modify Fuzzy PID Hydraulic Turbine Governor Based on Cooperative Coevolutionary Algorithm

In order to overcome the unscience of defining the fuzzy PID’s three proportional factors when using the general genetic algorithm to optimize the hydraulic turbine fuzzy PID governor’s fuzzy rules,a new parameter self-modify fuzzy PID control based on cooperative coevolutionary algorithm is proposed. The cooperative coevolutionary algorithm used to optimize the fuzzy rules together with the three proportional factors and the fuzzy reasoning system used to calculate the increasing value of PID parameters are presented in this way. In order to resolve the irregularity between the optimized rules, a smoothness factor is applied to the objective function. The simulation result shows that this method has excellent static and dynamic performance, further more, it has strong robust performance.
