The Calculation of Leakage Reactance for Transformer by Using Image Method

Yang Ping Dept. of Electrical Engineering, HIET  
In this paper, the leakage reactance of transformer is computed by using image method. The calculated results of two transformers show that the accuracy of the method can be compared with second-order triangular element method with smaller elements, however the method occupies much smaller storage elements of computer.
