Robust fault-tolerant control for systems with sensor faults based on disk pole assignment

Based on LMI conditions of disk stability, a method of robust fault-tolerant control against sensor faults for uncertain systems is presented via memoryless state feedback control and static output feedback control respectively. By using this method, the closed-loop system not only keeps integrity but also is robust stable in given disk area for all admission parameter uncertainties when sensor faults occur. Numerical example and simulation results demonstrate that the method is simple and effective.
