A novel fuzzy PI intelligent control method of BLDCM speed servo system

Based on the mathematical model of BLDCM, a novel fuzzy PI intelligent method is proposed for controlling the speed servo system. In the double loop of speed servo system, the conventional PI controller is implemented in the current loop, in the speed loop the fuzzy PI hybrid control scheme is applied. Several tests based on the minitype BLDCM are conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed controller. Experimental results show the improved scheme has high dynamic and static performance and is superior to the traditional PI controller.
