Mathematics model and decoupling control for self-bearing induction motors

The self-bearing induction motor is a strong-coupled complicated nonlinear system.The decoupling control of torque and radial suspension forces is the key technology of the stable operation for self-bearing motor. The principle of radial suspension force is expounded.The mathematics models of radial suspension force and the rotation part on self-bearing motor are deduced.A control system based on rotor magnetic field oriented control is designed. The control system is simulated with Matlab/Simulink toolbox.Simulation results have shown that the rotor can be suspended steadily,torque and radial suspension subsystems can be controlled independently,the control method is valid and the control system has good static and dynamic performance.
