Exact linearization control scheme of DFIG

The traditional vector control of double fed induction generator(DFIG) based on simplified model has no good performance and can not guarantee a sufficient stability region in the state space.In this paper,a novel control strategy by internal model control based on the inverse system theory was proposed.On the basis of on nonlinear mathematical model of DFIG which developed with state variables,the αorder inverse system of DFIG was derived and a pseudo linear system was obtained with inverse system method.The Internal Model Control(IMC) was used for the pseudo linear system to improve the robustness.This control strategy was able to decouple the active and reactive stator current allowing the independent control of the active power and reactive power of DFIG with a sufficient stability region in the state space.The experimental results verified the validity of the proposed control strategy.
