Combined three-phase inverter operating in voltage or current control mode

To prevent inverter stopping within load short-circuit,a hybrid scheme is proposed,which controls the output voltage being constant in voltage control model(VCM) and controls the output current is constant in current control model(CCM).The equivalent inverter topology and mathematical models were obtained in two models for combined three-phase inverter.A hybrid control strategy was given.On the one hand,the PID control and the repetitive control were used in VCM to obtain the fast dynamic responses and low harmonic distortions.On the other hand,the state feedback control was used in CCM.Pole assignment was employed in designing parameter of the PID controller and state feedback,and the repetitive control design process was given.Experimental results using two 400KVA parallel inverters show that the proposed control scheme has excellent output waveform in state-steady operation and good reliability switching between VCM and CCM.
