Design of Measurement System of Current-to-frequency Converter in SIMU

The output signal of current-to-frequency converter in strap-down inertial measurement unit(SIMU) is a non-equal-period frequency signal whose frequency changes with a wide range(0.1Hz~8 kHz).A high precision measurement system of current-to-frequency converter based on DSP phase-locked loop circuit and multi-cycle frequency measuring technology was designed to ensure the measure precision.The system was successfully used in auto-measurement of current-to-frequency converter in an air-to-air missile.Practice shows that the system has such advantages as low cost,high precision,stable and reliable performance.
