Extension of Dopplerlet Transform and Application in Active Sonar Detection

Aiming at active detection of underwater fast-moving object,Dopplerlet transform is introduced in the paper.According to the echo characteristics of moving targets,initiative Dopplerlet atom is proposed,and the matching pursuits algorithm based on initiative Dopplerlet Transform is analyzed.The algorithm overcomes error problem which caused by frequency changes in Dopplerlet transform used in the passive acoustic signal processing.Finally,the algorithm is applied to detect fast-moving target and estimate its speed and range in the background of white Gaussian noise and colored Gaussian noise,and achieved good results.
