The Study on Aerodynamic Characteristics of Duct Body of Ducted Fan Aircraft

The duct aerodynamics greatly affect lift characteristics of ducted fan aircraft.The structure parameters which affect aerodynamic characteristics of duct were quantized and the duct model was meshed by using adaptive Cartesian grid.Jameson FVM was used to analyze different styles of duct.According to the results of simulation,several conclusions of relationship between duct structure and ducted fan aircraft were made to support ducted fan aircraft design.
