Numerical Modeling of Third Harmonic Complex Cavity Gyrotron Through Self-consistent Theory

This paper presents an application of self-consistent field theory for complex cavity gyrotron with gradual transition. In this model, the RF field profile function satisfies a wave equation in which AC beam current appears as a source. The wave equation is solved simultaneously with the electron equations of motion. A three harmonic 8 mm compleX cavity gyrotron working in H61-H62 modes is solved numerically.Rather high interaction efficiency is achieved.
