DETERMINATION OF GEOID DEFORMATION AND REAL VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT ON GROUND SURFACE

In consideration of variations of gravity field and of ground height with time, real vertical displacement on ground is equal to the sum of variation of levelling height and of variation of geoidal height. In this paper, theoritical formulas for determination of variation of geoidal height and of variation of vertical deflection as well as of real vertical displacement on ground by combination of data obtained from repeated gravity and levelling measurements in the same time have been derived by the method of general Stokes formula: The results obtained here are the exactly same as that obtained with the method of solving BVP by Heck(1984) and are with a constant difference in comparison with results by Biro(1983). In addtion, it is also indicated that general Stokes formula and Vening. Meinesz formula can be generalized, consequently, they should formally be became a set of operator for determination of variation of geoidal height and of variation of vertical deflection. When they are used for differentaim, concerned physical variables(effective gravity variation and potential difference)must be given corresponding suitable physical contain.
