STUDY ON SOME QUESTIONS OF DYNAMIC PICTURES OF CRUSTAL DEFORMATION AND STRAIN FIELDS OBTAINED BY THE LEAST SQUARE COLLOCATION

In view of some key questions occurred in achieving process of least square collocation used to estimate crustal deformation and strain, by using simulated equal distance range networks and observed data of large areal leveling monitoring networks, the displacement covariance pictures basically conformed to Gauss function characteristics and the method of determining the parameter of the Gauss function are gained. On the basis of obove, the least square collocation used in spacedomain interpolation is spread to the time domain interpolation in order to obtain continuous dynamic pictures. Moreover, the least square collocation has advantage of evaluating precision, the more the observed points distribution density is big, the more the accuracy is high.
