On the profile perpendicular to the fault zone and fractured band in Xianshuihe and also in the fault basin, utilized GPS points array of short range lines, markstone array of short baselines and precise laser ranging, we made the tectonic geodetic survey to obtain the best deformation distribution on the flaccid zone and creep zone of the fault. Integrated with related geonomy results and theories the geodynamic information connoted in the tectonic deformation is revealed and identifies every area of fault strain band, fault creep band and main fault surface on the surface of earth. Taking advantage of GPS measurement results observed simulataneously at other far stations around the fault zone, the driving mechanism of Xianshuihe fault zone is discussed and the meanings of its "left lateral" motion and today's active velocity are explained more clearly than before. At last the trends of earthquake activity in Xianshuihe fault zone is estimated.
