TIDE CORRECTION OF ABSOLUTE GRAVITY MEASUREMENTS

The tide correction of absolute measurements is discussed in detail. We emphasize on the oceanic loading effects on absolute gravity measurements.Taking the absolute gravity observational results at three different stations for example,some tide models which are widely used in world recently are tested. The results indicate that these tide models are better than Schwiderski tide model.Although the accuracy of observational results after ocean loading correction at stations near coast during the big tide period has improved,it is somewhat difficult to reach the level of 2×10\+\{-8\}m·s\+\{-2\}.
