PROGRESS ON ELECTROSTATIC SPACE ACCELEROMETER

Electrostatic space accelerometers are able to measure very small displacement, accelerate and ultra weak force.The measurement range of accelerometer have been from 10+{-2} ms+{-2} to 10+{-9}ms+{-2}, and its resolution from 10+{-7}ms+{-2}Hz+{-12} to 10+{-15} ms+{-2}Hz+{-12} during the development in more 40 years, in the applications to the field of the aircraft, the Earth’ s gravity observation and fundamental physics experiments .In this paper the developing progress of the electrostatic space accelerometers briefly summarized.
