INVERSION OF 3-D SLIP VELOCITY OF QILIANSHAN FAULT WITH GPS DATA

On the basis of dislocation model, to computed formulae inversing three-dimension velocity of fault’s strike-slip,dip and tension with GPS observation data are derived. The velocity distribution of Qilianshan fault are calculated with GPS data observed from 1999 to 2001 in northerneast margin of Tibetan Plateau. The results show that the velocity in dip slip of Qilianshan fault is larger than those in strike slip and tension, and the distribution of velocities along the fault are uneven.
