THEORY OF DIFFERENTIAL RADAR INTERFEROMETRY AND ITS APPLICATION TO DEFORMATION MONITORING

Wang Feng, Wang Jianhua and Wu Yun (Institute of Seismology,SSB.Wuhan 430071)
The theory of differential radar interferometry and its geometry are described. The baseline, image correlation and phase coherence of which are analysed. The problem of obtaining the amount of ground deformation from differential phase is presented. The experiment in the Bonn field is explained and the result of studying on Landers earthquake by this technique is given. It is recommanded to research on differential radar interferometry as early as possible.
