An Assignment Optimization Model to Get Minium Cost in Zhongyuan Oilfield by Using Simplex Method in Four-Dimensional Space

A new method to optimize the development programme of oil production is presented through analysis of the practical experience of Zhongyuan Oilfield. Production assignment conlusions can be drawn as follow:A minimized cost model is constructed on the basis of analysis of production cost in reservoir development. The production of liquid, oil and the number of production wells is optimized as assignment plan objects after multi-eielement regression of cost relation. The assigned productions to production factories in 1991 are lower than the objects of eighth five year plan, but near the practical data of that year, and the total cost decreased to some degree.The destination of production prediction is to determine the production trend of old wells and production condition. The production of old wells is the part of production whose cost is fairly low. The investment of new wells and operations can belaved if the old wells are fully utilized, which will allow more investmenton operation to improve the potential capacity of production. Thus the prediction result of old well production can be treated as the low limit in the assignment optimization model.The situation of Zhongyuan Oilfield has been very serious since 1988 due to the reservolr management and economlc analysis as well as the inflution in raw materials and unreasonable oil price. The assignment optimization of oil production must be reinforced after the enterprices enter market, because the development programmme of Zhongyuan Oilfield is really a production assignment plan in geological sense.The assignment optlmization model and the research method of practical example presented in this paper can be acted as a reference in the analysis and plan of oil production system in Zhongyuan Oiifield in the future.
