A Simple Correction Method of Water Drive Characteristic Curve

During flooding oilfield's development, reservoir engineers often use the Water Drive Characteristic Curve to estimate and predict about oilfield development performance. But the Water Drive Characteristic Curve is a curve at early stage of development be fore it turned a straight line. It can't be used for estimating and predicting about oilfield development performance. A simple good correction method that turns a curve to a straight line at early stage of development is presented in this paper.
