Advances on condensate oil-gas phase behavior research in porous medium

Li Mingjun(Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu 610500, China), Du Jianfen, Bian Xiaoqiang.
This paper analyzes the oil-gas phase behavior theory in porous media in the recent several decades. The issue that porous media has affected the phase behavior of oil and gas is affirmed, and the limitation of current research in the phase behavior of oil and gas is explained. The future development direction of phase behavior study is put forward. The storage and seepage of condensate oil and gas in porous medium form a interacting system with the porous medium of reservoir. The capillary pressure, capillary condensation, absorption and wettability affect the phase behavior characteristics and seepage laws of condensate gas to a certain extent. The effect is more serious especially in porous medium of low permeability.
