Part 1:Core Content and Technical Framework of Smart Grid

The origin and the motivations,the differences from the conventional grid,the principal characteristics,technological framework and the deployment sequence of the smart grid are introduced in this paper.The principal characteristics of smart grid include self-healing,mutual operation and participation of the users,perfect electricity quality,distributed generations and demand response,sophisticated market and effective asset management.The smart grid comprises AMI,ADO,ATO and AAM.
