Analysis on Reactive Power Balance of Customers in Tangshan District

SUN Chao,JI Wei,AN Guang-hui(Tangshan Power Supply Company,Tangshan 063000,China)  
Because of the lack of reactive power capacity compensated of some customers in Tangshan Power Grid,Lower power factor would occur in summer when great loads needed which resulted in that a lot of reactive power is absorbed from power system,and cause voltage drop in Tangshan Power Grid.According to this phenomenon,this paper proposes some technical measures and managerial measures to increase the power factor.
